How to set Retevis RT24 scramble function in programming software?

For a privacy two-way radio communication, only setting frequency and CTCSS is not enough, because many devices, such as Retevis Frequency decoder Counter R-511, can detect the frequency and CTCSS, when others are transmitting within specifically distance. But radio scrambler function helps here! We made a introduction for scramble function in our last blog, this time, let’s discuss how to set RT24 scramble function:

RT24 Scramble function effect testing:

For scramble function, normally it’s for two radios that want to communicate, but they don’t want other radios hear what they are talking about.

So let’s make the same setting in another RT24. Make they both with scrambe function opened.

For another RT5R, let’s set the same Frequency and CTCSS, same as another two RT24.

Testing:
1.RT24 channel 1 call another RT24 channel 1, they can communicate, also the “voice” is normal voice.
2.Turn down the volume of one of the RT24, we can hear RT5R radio has an “alterative”voice, it has receiving signal, but can not hear the content of the conversation at all.

This way, two RT24 has successfully shield the “hearing” of RT5R radio, with scramble function.
